Project Overview
Scene Stealer is an innovative app designed to allow viewers to purchase items featured on production sets of movies, TV shows, and mini-series. As the Lead Product Designer, I led the creation of the app’s design, user experience, and pitch deck, focusing on bridging the gap between on-screen inspiration and consumer acquisition.
Problem Statement
Goal: To create a seamless user experience that allows viewers to easily identify and purchase items featured on screen, enhancing viewer engagement and driving sales.
Constraints: Developing a user interface that was both visually appealing and intuitive, while balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders including content creators, production companies, and retail partners.
Users: Target users included entertainment enthusiasts and shoppers interested in purchasing items seen on screen.
Challenges: Balancing the integration of diverse content types while maintaining a cohesive and intuitive user experience. Ensuring scalability and compatibility with various retail partners was also a key challenge.

Process
Research & Insights: Conducted user research through surveys and interviews to understand how users currently interact with on-screen content and their pain points in finding and purchasing those items. Competitor analysis provided additional insights into market gaps.
Ideation: Generated multiple design concepts that integrated user feedback, with a focus on clear navigation, visually engaging content displays, and simple purchase paths.
Testing & Iteration: Developed prototypes for the app and conducted usability tests to refine the user journey and interface elements. Iterations focused on optimizing performance and ease of use.
Decision-Making: Chose design elements that offered a blend of entertainment and retail experience, creating a visually engaging platform that was also highly functional.
